GREAT REASONS TO GET XM SATELLITE RADIO

Delphi RoadyXT Bundle

Hello....What about the XM Radio anyway?

I've gotten my share of questions about all the the stuff that XM has to offer. Yes, the 170 or so channels and all of that. But, as you can see I'm not going to mention any of that today. What I want to focus in on now is what I feel like what makes XM appealing.

One of the main reasons I feel that XM is a good way to go is because of the Award Winning Radios, products, and service. When it comes to radios themselves XM has something to fit everyones lifestyle. The Budget is also in check because of the versatility in styles of radios and family multi-radio package pricing.

When it comes to using your XM Receiver Plug-n-Play is my choice for the busy person, couple, or family. This line of receivers does just what it says! Plug-n-Play will allow you to use the same Receiver with multiple listening options. This options is the best value for your money. I do enjoy listening to my favorite XM channels in my car, home, on the beach or just about anywhere.

Most all of the Plug-n-Play Receivers comes with a Car Kit. I always suggest getting a Home Kit when you purchase the receiver. This will give you two places to listen to your favorite channels. Boom boxes gives you the power to take your music or talk show with you to the swimming pool, game, camp house, etc. You get the idea.

If you have questions or want to comment be my guest!

FCC chief recommends OK of satellite radio merger

Associated Press - June 16, 2008 12:53 AM ET

WASHINGTON (AP) - The chairman of the Federal Communications Commission is recommending approval of the $5-billion merger between the nation's only two satellite radio broadcasters.

The Associated Press has learned that the recommendation comes in exchange for concessions offered by the companies that include turning over 24 channels to noncommercial and minority programming.

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin's recommendation sets the stage for a final vote on the closely watched buyout of XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. by rival Sirius Satellite Radio Inc.

The two companies also agree to a 3-year price freeze for their subscribers.
