ETHEL XM Channel 47

You know that some things are just like a fine bottle of wine. And, Ethel has bloomed into a fancy, crisp, clean (well maybe not clean) but, COOL XM Channel. It is located in the ROCK Genre section on channel 47. If you've not listened in a while or not at all you should do your ears a favor and tune into the self proclaimed "NEW ALTERNATIVE IS WHAT WE KNOW" channel!

This bossy female is rocking on all cylinders! I think that this is Fred's wife and Lucy's best friend...or maybe somewhere in-between! HA! You see that the kind of self-proclaimed music that is played on Ethel has a new nice swing! The kind of Beat that has a neat cool dissertation with a mellow sophistication! Yes, they say it's a NEW alternative but I think it has a PULSE or maybe a Heartbeat with a cool PUR!

This is the only station that plays funky electric tunes like from groups like the Flobots with their song "Handlebars". I enjoy the change of pace and the upbeat tempo of Jack Johnsons "If I had Eyes"! Another great song is from The Bravery "Believe"!

Sometimes people only see what they want or feel what they can. Ethel is beyond that with a juicy {NO COMMERCIALS} latitude and attitude! The self proclamation "Let us introduce you to Ethel. We care about the music". Alternative is what we know... Red Hot Chili Peppers, The White Stripes, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Radiohead, Arcade Fire". And Oh buddy they have done it! Great NEW alternative is what it's all about!

I usually start my day with a good dose of Rick Lambert DJ in the morning and then most of the time I can catch the Mid Day DJ ERIK and finally I catch up with CANE in the afternoon. The thing about XM and Ethel channel 47 is you hardly hear a DJ but when you do they are Great! So take my advice, 2une in 2 Ethel for some great PLOP PLOP NEW Alternative 2unes!
